Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has assured Chinese President Xi Jinping that Thailand will not legalize casinos, nor will it stimulate the economy through any form of gambling activities, according to foreign media reports. It is reported by The Nation that Anutin reiterated during the bilateral meeting between Thailand and China at the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting that the newly formed government has suspended all gambling-related legislation and will promote urgently needed economic growth through other measures like Thai products and technology.
