The US and Israel's joint military strike on Iran prompted an upsurge in international oil and gold prices during the early Asian market.

New York oil futures peaked at USD75.33 per barrel, up 12.4%, and last soared USD5.01 or 7.5%, at USD72.3. Brent oil futures peaked at USD82.37 per barrel, up 13%, and last added USD5.79 or 8%, at USD78.66.
